Creation
I’ve been telling ghost stories since I was five years old flashlight in hand and full of imagination. Now I write real books that share adventure, friendship, and magic with kids everywhere.
I’ve loved telling stories since I was five, sharing ghost tales with my family by flashlight every night. At ten, I asked my mom if I could write a book, and she said yes when I was ready. That story became Peppermint the Little Ghost, my first published book. By thirteen, I had completed a five-book series, inspired by imagination, laughter-filled writing sessions with my mom, and my love for storytelling. Writing has been my favorite adventure from the very beginning!

The story of
Sanjaleah Robinson
I started telling ghost stories to my family when I was just five years old, using a flashlight to set the scene. Every day, for years, I would share new spooky tales, and I loved seeing their reactions. When I turned ten, I asked my mom if I could write a book. She said yes, but told me to let her know when I was truly ready.
The next day, at midnight, I woke her up and said I was ready. She looked sleepy and asked, “Ready for what?” I excitedly told her all about my story, Peppermint the Little Ghost. It took me two days to get it all down on paper. My mom reminded me that publishing a book would take time, and I agreed. Six months later, my very first book was published—and I was overjoyed.
A few days after that, I told my mom I wanted to write a series of five books. She suggested four, but I insisted it had to be five. After discussing the time and cost, she agreed, reminding me to come to her when I was ready. A few days later, I was ready again, and we spent time writing together laughing, talking, and sharing ideas
The five-book series took six months to complete. By the time I was thirteen, all five books were published in 2023. I felt proud, excited, and deeply thankful to my mom, to whom I dedicated the series. Writing has been my passion from the very beginning, and it continues to be my favorite adventure.
